Dr. Jimmy R. Cheng
Founder & Optometrist
Dr. Jimmy Cheng was born and raised in Los Angeles, receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of California, Irvine. He then decided to leave the sunshine and moved to the gorgeous city of Boston, Massachusetts, where he graduated from the New England College of Optometry in 2005. His studies also took him to Wenzhou, China, where he continued to train with renowned ophthalmologists at the Wenzhou Medical College. Following another clinical externship at the VA Hospital in Fresno, California, Dr. Cheng returned to Boston where he was in private practice before eventually moving back home to Los Angeles in 2007. Dr. Cheng joined Drs. Silver and Taketa in 2008 and lives in West L.A. with his two children.
Dr. Rebecca Law
Optometrist
Dr. Rebecca Law was born and raised in the suburbs of Los Angeles. She attended the University of California, San Diego, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology. She then relocated to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where she graduated from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. After, she entered an internship specializing in Pediatrics at The Eye Institute in Philadelphia, before receiving further clinical training at Fenway Community Health Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Following her internship, she returned to California for externships at both the VA Hospital Long Beach and at NVISION Laser Eye Center in La Jolla. She enjoys traveling and eating at new restaurants.

Amber Yarbrough
Optician
Amber hails from the great state of Texas, having received her undergraduate degree from UT Permian Basin. She is a Certified Paraoptometric Assistant, trained in visual field testing, retinal photography, as well as contact lens insertion and removal training. Amber has practiced since 1999, and has been an integral part of our team since 2005.
Terri Hashaway
Optician
Terri has been the office manager of this 20+ year-old practice since 1988. Born and raised in Los Angeles, Terri has worked in the optical field as a licensed optician for 18 years. She has the expertise and the sense for new eyewear trends, lens technologies, as well as advances in contact lenses.
Eileen Davalos
Optician
A Los Angeles native, Eileen has 10 years of experience as an optician. She received her license in 2000, shortly before joining this practice. Fluent in Spanish, she has developed excellent customer service skills not only as an optician, but also with patient pre-testing, and contact lens trainings.
Angel Pozos, Jr.
Optician
Angel was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. He graduated with honors from American Career College as an ABO licensed optician and Student Ambassador. Speaking fluent English and Spanish, Angel is capable of helping your every optical need and enjoys working closely with patients, giving them caring, personalized service.
